“Kittens” by A. Voronin

When girls are friends for a long time, they get to know a lot about each other. They know what kind of clothes they like, what kind of boys they like, how far they’ve gone, etc…But what often gets left out are the secret, up-swelling passions that can occur in the heat of the moment to almost anyone. Such a “moment” comes to us from the annals of Voronin’s work on Met-Art photo shoots through the series now in question, called “Kittens.”
The two models in this series, known to their intimates as Lina and Vishka, have indeed been friends since their early grades. They learned to ride bikes together, their families have gone on camping trips together, they’ve even dated some of the same boys. But not until this photo shoot did they discover what would become so obvious as they undressed for Voronin’s lens – they actually had feelings for each other!
Now, we’re not trying to psychologize them. We’re just going off what Voronin told us in a shoot report…something he sends us after each session in case there’s material we care to use in there. Here is a brief excerpt from the shoot report:
“Lina and Vishka are two very beautiful models, and I knew if I got them together, they would do very well, that they would bring something out for each other. Well, little did I know. In the middle of the shoot, as I was asking them to change positions, I suddenly noticed that they were not moving, or rather, only parts of them were moving. Instead of changing as I asked, they remained in an embrace, kissing and stroking. I spoke up and said, ‘Are you going to move?’ And Lina, the braver of the two, turned around and said, ‘Do we have to?’”
So, there it is, from the photographer’s own mouth. Lina and Vishka, discovering feelings for each other during a Met-Artshoot. And the real joy is that you can see it in the series. About midway, after the first 30 or so photos, the hue on their skins, their smiles, the way they’re embracing, changes. They’re holding each other more closely. Their smiles are more pleased. Their eyes twinkle with newfound bliss. That’s Met-Art for you. Helping men…and young women…discover new passions!
