Movie – Vika – “Summertime” by Goncharov
Visit this highlight from the archive of scores of series and hundreds of remarkable photos of beautiful young girls from Met Art.
Goncharov’s unobtrusive and expert eye again brings us the unbelievably beautiful vision of lovely young Vika. The entirety of this incredible film is comprised of Vika dancing and playing amidst a copse of flowering trees (the pictures at left were taken soon after, when she had moved to the nearby sea).
In the movie, she swings her long limbs easefully through the branches, hanging playfully from the boughs. She dances through the high grasses, pausing to spin exuberantly, a graceful young woman taking delight in the pleasures of nature. The contrast of her ivory soft skin against the rough bark of the trees through which she dances is breathtaking. How is it that such a stunning young creature can exist?
It’s hard to know where to begin with this film. Vika’s youthful candor is again apparent. One moment she’ll be entirely wrapped up in her own world, entranced by the pale flowers exploding before her, and the next she’ll be playing gleefully to the camera, tossing petals and grinning naughtily at the lens. Minutes later, she’ll be back in her own world, examining the rough wood or burying her nose in an abundance of flower blossoms. And then she’ll remember the camera again, and teasingly toss back her mane of luxurious hair, inviting the viewer to join her in her ecstatic reverie.
Of course, the choreography of Vika’s impulsive dancing is almost beside the point. The topic of this film is the girl – what else could it be? – and her motions and location can’t help but play second string to the vibrancy and wonder of her perfect body. Vika’s full breasts and slender waist, her urgent bottom and endless legs are captured with reverence by Goncharov’s gentle lens. Vika is nothing less than a statue come to life: it’s hard to believe, again, that such a creature could exist in this world.
Exist she does, though. Vika is one of those lovely models who takes an obvious pleasure in her naked form. In this amazing piece of footage, she demonstrates the tantalizing innocence of a girl who knows how to appreciate the brilliant dexterity of her youth. The delight Vika demonstrates in using her body as sensory tool, as a way of fully experiencing the natural environment in which she dances, is wonderful to behold. You’ll enjoy Vika’s summertime romp at least as much as she does.
