Elizabeth A ‘Presenting‘ by Balius
The first image in 18-year-old Elizabeth A‘s debut Met Art erotic photo gallery instantly captured my full and undivided attention. In this shot the model is standing in front of a large window. On tiptoe, her legs crossed, she holds the diaphanous curtains to her hips. She’s nude but for a pair of skimpy white lace panties, and her long light brown (or is that dark blonde?) hair falls fetchingly across the right side of her face. The “pretty” receptors in my visual pleasure center have definitely been triggered.
As I explore the pictorial further I find more to enjoy in the physical details — this young Lithuanian discovery has a sweet demeanor and a fresh, natural beauty. The delicate bits, from her petite nipples to those treats below a somewhat distracting tan line, are inviting and the artist Balius has taken the time to document them well.
My list of favorite shots in “Presenting” include #011 and #013, two variations of a headshot, right eye partially hidden by that lustrous hair; #026 and #063, two more headshots that pull back enough to include Elizabeth’s delicately beautiful breasts; #088, an explicit rear view; and #108, a kneeling pin-up pose in which the model shares a rare smile.
However, as I racked up favorite shots, a pattern made itself quite evident. This newcomer too often relies on one expression. Her hair is arranged just so. Her face is turned several degrees to her right, and her expression rarely deviates from a single, fixed look. It’s a good look, don’t get me wrong! But I do wish Balius had made more of an effort to coax more varied expressions from this nubile new model. Indeed, two shots where Elizabeth A tries to mix things up, #102 and #103, almost look like mistakes or outtakes. I, for one, would love to see her shake her head, mess up her hair, laugh, pout, look to her left, stick out her tongue, grin or grimace — just do something, anything, to shake off the comfort of her (admittedly beautiful) “model face.”
Of course, it is her first Met Art gallery, and first time jitters are natural and even charming, in their way. And there’s no question: what I see of Elizabeth A in her debut makes me want to see more.
