Tatum A appeared in a series simply called Tatum and one called “Energia,” both shot by Voronin, as is this. She has also been in a couple movies, one called, again, simply “Tatum” and one called “Millennia,” both again shot by Voronin. She is a beautiful young blonde, statuesque and slender, petite and precocious, and we are glad to see her back as she always fills her photos with delicate personality and sensual innuendoes.
The title of this series, Rebelle, tells us something about what is happening in these photos. But it is not immediately apparent what that something is. When we start moving through the photos, we are met with Tatum in a pink bustier with black dots. She is not wearing any underwear. Her hair is slightly disheveled, as if these photos are “après amour.” The bed on which all the photos are shot seems to be of rich, expensive mahogany, and the general atmosphere of the room is one of sumptuousness and luxury.
So what exactly is Tatum “rebelling” against in these photos? To find the answer, one must look, as one often must, into the young woman’s eyes. If you look closely, you can see what this series is entitled as it is. Tatum is rebelling against her viewers, but in the most precious and seductive manner. With each look, she seems to be saying to the viewer, “I know you are looking at me, but I’m not going to let you see deep into my soul. I’m only offering you my body, because I know you want more. But I am comfortable only giving that much to you. And I am confident that you will accept just that, since I am, after all, so beautiful.”
Yes, Tatum is rebelling against the possibilities of her own photo shoot, and the results are highly enticing. Normally, models try to “give themselves” to the camera. They try to project a “spirit” or a “personality” into the images. But Tatum, an experienced young coquette, knows how to play off our expectations.
