This untitled series of photographs by Yerbury captures the essence of femininity. The virtues associated with femininity are reflected throughout the photos: gentleness, delicacy, softness, and tenderness. There is also a undeniable erotic flavor to the photos.
The model photographed by Yerbury is Allison A, a dark-haired beauty with deep brown eyes. Her full crimson colored lips remain sealed throughout most of the photos. Perhaps she is holding the secrets of femininity and how its power has enticed men since the beginning of time. The model’s cheeks are slightly blushed against her creamy complexion.
Many of the photos feature the model in a bed atop pristine linens and remnants of sheer tulle. She looks so comfortable in these photos. One can almost hear her steady breathing as the camera captures her in various states of repose. Yerbury uses lighting magnificently to capture the highlights and luster in the model’s long tresses. The soft lighting also accentuates the landscape of her body and facial features. Some of the photos in this section use lighting more boldly. The affect is reminiscent of an early morning sunrise streaming in to gently kiss her awake.
She wears a white peasant blouse and thigh highs in a few of the other photos Yerbury shoots of her posing in the bed. Her long hair is pulled loosely back in a braid and the model somehow appears more innocent. She is still, however, extremely alluring. Her dark, at times, brooding features are even more prominent with her hair pulled away from her delicate face.
The model is seen in several of the photos wearing a white corset and thigh highs. The corset is loose rather than tied. Her generous bottom is uncovered and definitely the focus of the shot taken from behind. The model’s hair is pulled back into a loose braid and compliments the composition of these photos beautifully. The white walls provide a background palette that further enhances the photographs.
A rich burgundy davenport is the backdrop for some of the photographs. The plush texture of the sofa is palpable and one can imagine its softness brushing against her exposed skin. The model looks, again, quite comfortable lounging on the couch in these photos. She retains her thigh high stockings but the rest of her physique is on display as she stretches out and invites viewers to scan the length of her feminine form.
