The model featured in the Metart erotic photo gallery titled ‘Parilla‘ has an exceptionally beautiful, slender, and shapely body. Her physique, proportions, coloring — in every detail she’s virtually flawless. And this series contains an ample assortment of explicit, intensely erotic close-ups that are guaranteed to make mouths water and pulses pound. The reason I stress the enticing delights of Adele B’s body is that time after time, as I worked my way through the gallery, I found my attention being magnetically redirected to her face. With so much lust-inspiring beauty on display — and trust me, I did linger, longingly, over the explicit body shots in the collection — the headshots here are nothing less than beguiling.
My notes are filled with mentions of particularly skillful and stylish poses (#004 is one fine example, and #067, quite different, is another). And I’ve called out a generous selection of steamy explicit images (#052 delivers the gorgeous goods head-on, and #121 offers the viewer two points of entry for fiery fantasies). And yet…the headshots somehow captivate me more than even the most magnificently carnal images in the set. And they’re peppered throughout the entire gallery. We get one fine example in #011, the masterful lighting adds painterly impact to #029, there’s something both erotic and angelic in #076, and Adele B‘s face, lightly freckled, highlighted by those crystalline, greenish-blue (or is that bluish-green?) eyes, surrounded by that soft, golden hair, is simply stellar.
The talent in front of the camera in “Parilla” is beyond question. And so is the talent behind it — Erro is an internationally renowned master in the art of erotic photography, and this set, so casual, informal, and effortlessly executed is a gem. Adele B, nude from the start, is seated on a sofa covered by a gold satin spread. The room is cluttered, plaster is flaking on the walls, pictures and empty frames hang haphazardly in the background — it could be the apartment of a university student or a starving artist or musician. In the hands of a lesser artist the setting might be a major distraction. But in Erro’s vision it’s natural, comfortable, flattering, and entirely appropriate. The pacing of the series is a lesson in and of itself. In #001 we see a full-body shot of Adele seated, legs extended,in what might be called the “establishing shot” in cinema. #002 moves closer, same pose, but more emphasis on the face. And in #003, the artist rises up, Adele adjusts her pose and expression, and the pair create a lovely and emotive headshot, a welcome taste of many more yet to come in the collection. Beguiling beauty captured with consummate skill make “Parilla” profoundly pleasurable.
