Andrea C & Katya E: ‘By the Seaside” by Voronin‘
From deep in the archives, a classic photo gallery that epitomizes the romance of Met Art.
We dug deep into the archives, pulling out a truly romantic photo gallery, shot by Met Art veteran, Voronin. Here we present you with one of Met Art’s most timeless series – a dreamy duet, set against the shimmering sea. Featuring two beautiful girls, artistic photography, and a charming coastal setting, “By the Seaside” stirs the imagination as it explores the special chemistry between Andrea and Katya.
A master photographer, Voronin is a core creative force behind Met Art. This artist is a true lover of the feminine form, and he always maintains an incredibly positive rapport with the models he loves. At Met Art, we have consistently featured Voronin’s incredible work, and it is a treat to look back at his evolution as an artist. In “By the Seaside,” we see many of the elements that would later become Voronin’s signature traits: romantic settings, flattering lighting, playfulness, feminine mystique, and, of course, classically gorgeous women.
This series also features Andrea C, a lovely blond beauty, still in her teens at the time this gallery was photographed. One of Met Art’s first stars, Andrea continues to rank among our top models, stunning viewers with her youthful beauty and easygoing grace. She has appeared in Met Art many times – in fact, she was featured in our very first issue. Even today, years after her debut, Andrea continues to charm viewers with her long flaxen hair and freckled complexion. This blue-eyed beauty may seem girlishly sweet, yet, as Voronin reveals, she is deeply in touch with her womanly nature.
Andrea loves to work with other models, even though she admits that it can make her feel a bit shy at the beginning of a photo shoot. In this gallery, Andrea teams up with Katya, a willowy redhead with a very elegant demeanor. To create this stunning, multi-part series, Voronin photographed the two girls over the course of several afternoons. These models had met on several occasions; however, their friendship blossomed as they worked on this series. Voronin’s able camera was able to penetrate this growing intimacy, and “By the Seaside” features an exciting look into two girls’ budding friendship.
The series of photos we’ve selected from this series highlights the grace of these two nymphs, while also illustrating the increasing intimacy that develops between the two models. In the first image, there is a clear affection between the pair, as Andrea dips her head towards Katya’s shoulders. In the second photo, the girls begin to move closer together, breaking the boundaries of personal space. Standing face to face, their bellies almost touching, Andrea and Katya are consumed in the moment, eyes lowered as if ready to offer a kiss. Finally, these models give way to their desire for touch. Once they have broken the barrier, they become increasingly comfortable in each other’s arms. This series, like so many others featured at Met Art is a classic look at Met Art’s famous faces and timeless artistry.
